How to Delete a Webcam Account

1. Cancel recurring products first. Memberships, fan clubs and auto-refill can keep billing if you skip this; only some platforms cancel them automatically on deletion. Our guide to stopping recurring charges has the steps.
2. Decide what to do with your balance. Remaining tokens or credits are lost on most sites when you close the account. Ask about a refund before deleting, while the account still exists.
3. Remove saved payment cards in the billing settings, if the site lets you.
4. Save anything you want to keep, such as receipts for purchases you might need to dispute.
5. Delete or close the account with the platform's documented method below.
6. Keep the confirmation. Save the email or screenshot that shows the account was closed.
7. Ask for data deletion if you want it. Closing an account and erasing your personal data are not always the same thing.

How to delete a webcam account on each platform

These are the methods each platform documents in its own help center, terms or privacy policy, checked on October 14, 2026. Where a site gives no step-by-step guide, we say so.

Chaturbate

Log in and use the "Disable Account" link at the bottom of the homepage. Accounts deactivated for more than 120 days cannot be reactivated. Chaturbate's privacy policy says permanent deletion is available through its deletion tool, and that the username is retained to prevent impersonation. Supporter memberships and fan clubs are cancelled separately under My Profile > Memberships.

Stripchat

Go to Settings and Privacy > Delete Account, confirm, then press "Do It". The account goes inactive immediately, and all data is permanently deleted automatically after 18 months. Until then you can reactivate it with your tokens and collection intact. Models attached to a studio have to ask the studio. Cancel Ultimate and fan clubs under My Subscriptions first.

LiveJasmin

On desktop, go to Privacy Settings and choose "Forget My Data". The account status becomes "Cancelled" and personal data is erased except where the law requires it to be kept. On mobile, LiveJasmin's FAQ says to email [email protected] instead. Club Elite points are lost on closure.

CAM4

Go to My Account > Account Settings > Account > Delete Account. Deletion is permanent. CAM4 says a Gold membership is cancelled automatically and the payment processors are notified, which makes CAM4 one of the few platforms where deleting also stops the subscription. Broadcasters lose any uncashed tokens.

XloveCam

Open "Your Account" and use the "Close my account" link at the bottom of the page. Remaining credits are lost and cannot be transferred. Support can reactivate a closed account.

CamSoda

Account and data deletion is requested through CamSoda's data protection officer: [email protected] for people in the EU and [email protected] for everyone else. You must still be able to log into the account to make the request. Cancel Premium first on the Membership page or through [email protected].

Streamate and Jerkmate

Both run on the same company's systems. Streamate's FAQ links to an account closure page; its terms say to email [email protected] with your log-in name, full name and the last 4 digits of your card. Jerkmate uses [email protected] in the same way, and premium renewals can be cancelled under My Account. Outstanding charges remain payable after closure.

Flirt4Free

Use the support form with the subject "Re-activate or Close Account". Flirt4Free's privacy policy says personal data can only be deleted by deleting the account, via [email protected]. Credits are lost on deletion.

SkyPrivate

Send a request to close the account through skyprivate.com/support. The account is marked "Closed" and some data may be kept. SkyPrivate's terms mention 30 days' notice to [email protected].

BongaCams, MyFreeCams and Cams.com

None of the three publishes a step-by-step deletion guide. BongaCams' terms say members are "entitled to cancel" their account at any time; contact support from your account. MyFreeCams' privacy policy lets you remove personal information in your profile or by contacting support, and its billing help points out that it has no subscriptions, so "there is never a need to cancel your account" for billing reasons. Cams.com's terms let you terminate your account or subscription at any time by written notice, with no refunds of prepaid amounts.

Closing an account vs deleting your data

Platforms use "deactivate", "close", "cancel" and "delete" for different things. A deactivated account can usually be restored; a deleted account may still leave records behind that the site must keep for legal reasons, such as billing and age-verification data. Chaturbate's privacy policy, for example, mentions keeping age-verification records for seven years.

If you want your personal data erased, say so explicitly in your request and refer to the platform's privacy policy. The privacy policy names the right contact: CamSoda, for example, has a separate data protection address for people in the EU, and Flirt4Free routes deletion requests to a legal address. What happens to tokens, subscriptions and purchases

• Tokens and credits: lost on XloveCam, Flirt4Free and LiveJasmin (Club Elite points), and Cams.com's terms rule out refunds of prepaid amounts. Stripchat keeps them during its 18-month window.
• Subscriptions: CAM4 cancels Gold automatically on deletion. Elsewhere, cancel memberships and fan clubs yourself first and keep the cancellation email.
• Purchased content: Stripchat's terms say content you bought stays available even if the model deletes their account, but that does not help once your own account is gone.

Security cleanup after deleting
