How Much Does a Private Webcam Show Cost?

This page is about cost. For how a private show works (requesting one, what the performer sees, recordings), read our guide to private shows on cam sites. For overall budgets including packages and memberships, start at cam site pricing.

Private webcam show prices by platform

These are the documented per-minute rates as published on official pages on October 14, 2026. A range is the minimum and maximum a performer may set; a default is what applies if the performer does not change it. Units differ between rows, so compare within the same unit.

The XLoveCam and SkyPrivate figures are samples from a handful of public profiles, not official ranges. CamSoda's ranges are what its help center calls "typical", and it converts them at about $0.10 per token (private $0.60 to $12 a minute). Streamate, Jerkmate and Cams.com do not publish a range at all; their rates appear only inside the site.

Group and ticket shows: the cheaper way in

Shared shows split the performer's time between viewers, so the per-person price is lower. MyFreeCams group shows are 10 tokens per minute per member (they start once at least three members request one). BongaCams group chat defaults to 30 tokens per minute per participant, with model limits of 10 to 150. Flirt4Free multi-user shows run 10 to 120 credits per minute. Stripchat ticket shows cost a fixed 8 to 1,000 tokens for the whole show, and Chaturbate ticket shows are bought with a set tip. See group shows and ticket shows for how they work.

How per-minute billing works

Two shows at the same rate can cost different amounts depending on how the platform counts time. This is what each site documents:

• Per second. BongaCams bills private chats per second. LiveJasmin states "In Private Chat LiveJasmin uses per second billing". MyFreeCams' 60 tokens a minute is one token per second.
• Every 10 seconds. CamSoda collects tokens every 10 seconds in private and group shows.
• Credit by credit. Flirt4Free deducts "one credit at a time" from the moment you enter a show.
• Whole minutes, rounded up. XLoveCam bills by the full minute. SkyPrivate charges at the start of a call and then every 60 seconds, rounding the duration up to the next full minute; VIP Silver, Gold and Platinum members are first charged after 59 seconds.
• Per minute with an entry charge. Streamate and Jerkmate charge card users "$2.00 USD or an amount equal to the first full minute, whichever is greater" on first entering paid areas, credited back toward premium purchases.
• Until you run out. On Stripchat a private stops when you run out of tokens; Chaturbate and Stripchat also let performers set a minimum show length (see below).

Per-second billing favors short visits: leave after 90 seconds and you pay for 90 seconds. With rounding to the full minute, 61 seconds costs two minutes.

Minimum durations and leaving early

A minimum duration is the shortest show you agree to pay for. It is optional, performer-set and shown before you start on the platforms that support it:

• Chaturbate: private and premium private shows can each have a minimum show length set by the broadcaster.
• Stripchat: models can set a minimum duration; if you leave early you are charged the minimum.
• CamSoda: if the model ends the show before the minimum, you are refunded the remaining minimum; if you end it early, there is no refund.
• SkyPrivate: models may set a minimum call duration and offer prepaid packages (the help center's example is 45 minutes for $81).
• Cam4: instead of a per-minute rate, performers can sell fixed blocks of time, for example 15 minutes for 50 tokens.
• Streamate and Jerkmate: optional block sessions are discounted: 15 minutes 5% off, 30 minutes 10%, 45 minutes 15%, 60 minutes 20%.
• ImLive: the host side mentions 30- and 60-minute sessions and a "Prepaid Sessions" category.

Private, exclusive and spy: what you pay for

Most platforms sell several flavors of private time at different prices:

• Private: the performer leaves public chat for you, but on many sites other members can watch without chatting (spies or voyeurs). This is the cheaper private tier.
• Exclusive / true private: no one else can watch. BongaCams' full-private defaults to 90 tokens against 60 for a regular private, MyFreeCams' TruePrivate is 80 against 60, and Chaturbate's premium private has its own price and blocks spying. Our true private glossary entry explains the term.
• Spy: you watch someone else's private show without interacting, at a lower rate. Stripchat gives a free 15-second peek once per show, LiveJasmin sells 25-second Sneak Peeks for 1.99 credits (new members get 10 free on email validation). See spy mode for which sites offer it.

Extras inside a private

Cam to cam pricing varies a lot. CamSoda includes Cam2Cam in the private rate at no extra cost if the model enables it. Stripchat sells Cam2Cam as its own show type at 8 to 250 tokens a minute. Cam4 performers set a separate Cam2Cam rate (Cam4 recommends 1.25 to 1.5 times the private rate). LiveJasmin says Cam2Cam and two-way audio "may incur extra per-minute charges", and Cams.com charges an additional per-minute fee. Tips during a show, recordings and LiveJasmin snapshots (0.5 credits each) also add up. More in our cam to cam guide.

Worked examples

These are examples, not quotes. Where the rate is not a fixed site rate or a published default, we picked it as an illustration inside the allowed range. Package prices are the published ones listed on our pricing overview, before VAT; prices can differ by region.

Token sites priced in US dollars

• MyFreeCams, 10-minute private (fixed 60 tokens/min): 600 tokens. At the 200-token package price ($19.99) that is about $59.97; at the largest listed package ($0.0792 per token) about $47.52. MyFreeCams itself notes that 200 tokens last 3 minutes 20 seconds in private.
• Stripchat, 10 minutes at an example rate of 60 tokens/min: 600 tokens, about $62.94 at the example table's 200-token price ($0.1049 per token) and about $47.70 at its 12,570-token price.
• CamSoda, 10 minutes at the model wiki's default private rate of 30 tokens/min: 300 tokens. Bought with the 400-token package ($39.99), those 300 tokens cost about $29.99.
• Chaturbate, 10 minutes at an example rate of 30 tokens/min (the 30-42 filter bucket): 300 tokens, about $31.49 at the "worth $20.99" reference value for 200 tokens. Chaturbate's card prices are not public, so this is a reference only.

Token site priced in euros

• BongaCams, 10-minute private at the default 60 tokens/min: 600 tokens. With the 800-token package (49.99 €), those 600 tokens cost about 37.49 €. A 10-minute full-private at the default 90 tokens is 900 tokens, about 55.71 € at the 1,050-token package rate (65.00 €). Spying for 10 minutes at the default 15 tokens is 150 tokens.

Credit and currency sites

• LiveJasmin, 10 minutes at an example rate of 2.99 credits/min: 29.9 credits, slightly more than one 27.99-credit package. The cash price of credits is shown only after sign-up, so we cannot convert this to dollars.
• XLoveCam, 10 minutes at 1.85 €/min (the top of the profiles we saw): 18.50 € of e-wallet credit.
• SkyPrivate, a 4-minute-10-second call at $2.00/min: billed as 5 full minutes, $10.00.

Refunds when a private show goes wrong

Refund windows are short and the rules are strict, so complain quickly if something fails. Stripchat accepts token complaints within 48 hours, but there is no full refund if a disputed private lasted over 5 minutes, and spying is not covered. BongaCams and LiveJasmin require complaints within 24 hours and refund tokens or credits only for technical failures or a performer who completely refuses to provide the show's content. CamSoda refunds remaining minimum time if the model ends early. For card disputes, read our page on chargebacks first: each platform sets its own account consequences for them.

How to pay less for private shows

1. Filter by price. Chaturbate, CamSoda and LiveJasmin let you filter performers by private rate on the homepage or model list.
2. Watch for discounts. CamSoda models run Private Specials of 25% to 75% off, LiveJasmin has Hot Deal discounts (up to 90% for new performers), Stripchat models can set temporary discounts.
3. Try spy or group first. They cost a fraction of a private on every site that publishes both.
4. Choose per-second billing for short visits and avoid shows with long minimums if you are not sure.
5. Use fan club perks. Some tiers include free spying (Stripchat, Cam4, CamSoda's Insider) or private discounts (CamSoda's Insider and Legend tiers).
