How Webcam Billing Appears on Your Statement

Most cam sites do not put their own name on your card or bank statement. How webcam billing appears depends on the payment processor: you will usually see a processor or company name such as EPOCH.COM*Technius (Stripchat), JWSbill.com (LiveJasmin) or GRANITY ENTERTAINMENT (CAM4). Below are the exact names each platform publishes, and the ones that do not publish anything.

Bank statement and credit card on a desk

In short

  • A "billing descriptor" is the text your bank shows next to a charge. Cam sites use processor names (Epoch, Segpay, CCBill) or neutral company names.
  • Ten of the platforms we cover publish their descriptors: Stripchat, LiveJasmin, CamSoda, MyFreeCams, CAM4, Streamate, Jerkmate, Flirt4Free, XLoveCam and SkyPrivate.
  • Chaturbate and Cams.com do not publish a descriptor. BongaCams only says charges appear "under EPOCH or SegPay".
  • The name can change with the payment method, so check after your first purchase.

What is a billing descriptor?

When you pay online, the merchant sends a short text label with the charge. Your bank shows it on your statement and in your banking app. Adult sites often bill through a specialist payment processor, and it is the processor's name, not the site's, that appears. CCBill's consumer support page explains it this way: if a transaction on your statement refers to www.ccbill.com, "you have purchased a subscription from a web site that uses CCBill for its billing services." Epoch offers a similar purchase lookup on its own site.

That is good for discretion, but it can be confusing months later, when you no longer remember what "SEGPAYEU.COM" or "UG*Payflow" was. Knowing the names in advance helps you recognize your own charges and spot ones that are not yours.

Notes on each platform

Stripchat

Stripchat lists the names "depending on the payment provider you use". Paymentico was added as a card processor in October 2026, with its own help article explaining why the name appears. Billing support is available directly from Epoch ([email protected]), Segpay ([email protected]) and Paymentico ([email protected]), as listed by Stripchat.

LiveJasmin

The FAQ says all transactions "will appear discretely" under JWSbill.com or CCbill.com. For billing questions LiveJasmin points to jwsbill.com and [email protected].

CamSoda

CamSoda's support page names EPOCH.COM *SECURELIVE for Epoch and PayPal-via-Epoch payments, and says "The billers name will be listed on your CC statement" for other processors. Its safety page puts it more loosely: you will see "securelive" (or similar) or the biller's name.

CAM4

CAM4's billing support says "For your discretion, your charges will appear as GRANITY ENTERTAINMENT on your statement", stated in the context of Gold membership, and its Fan Club FAQ says "CAM4 will not appear on your credit card statement".

Flirt4Free

Flirt4Free has the longest list. An older FAQ entry also mentions CCBILL.COM, SEGPAYUS.COM, WTS and Epoch, so an older charge may show one of those.

XLoveCam

XLoveCam's Add Credits page says the statement name is "neither a sexual or erotic name, nor the name of our website". The descriptor text is shown as an image on the page.

Why the name changes between purchases

Most platforms use several processors and route payments by method and country. Paying by PayPal on Streamate shows a PayPal line, paying by card may show Epoch, and Stripchat may use Epoch, Segpay or Paymentico for the same type of card. This is why platforms phrase their lists as "one of the following". A practical habit: after your first purchase, note the exact line in your banking app.

Non-card methods look different again. A crypto payment does not appear on a bank statement at all, while a paysafecard voucher or a gift card shows only the voucher or store purchase. See anonymous payment options for the trade-offs, and the payment methods overview for what each site accepts.

Found a charge you do not recognize?

  1. Compare the name with the table above. Processor names like Epoch, Segpay or CCBill are shared by many sites, so a match does not prove which site it was.
  2. Use the processor's lookup. CCBill and Epoch both offer consumer support for finding the purchase behind a charge.
  3. Check your cam accounts for purchase history, auto-refill settings and memberships that renewed.
  4. Contact the platform's billing support if it is yours but wrong; most refund rules require you to act within days (24 hours on LiveJasmin and BongaCams).
  5. Call your bank if the charge is not yours. An unauthorized charge is a different situation from a purchase you regret; our chargebacks guide explains the difference.

If the charge is a renewal you forgot, cancel it first: our guide on stopping recurring cam charges lists where each platform hides the cancel button.

Limits of discreet billing

A neutral descriptor hides the site name, not the fact that you paid someone. Anyone who sees your statement can still search the processor name. Emails, receipts and saved browser data can also reveal a purchase. General best practice: use a separate email for cam accounts and read our cam site privacy guide for the rest.

FAQ

Do cam sites show up on bank statements?

The charge shows up, but usually under a processor or company name rather than the site's name. For example, Stripchat bills as EPOCH.COM*Technius, SegpayEU.com-TechChat or Paymentico.com, and LiveJasmin as JWSbill.com or CCbill.com.

What is EPOCH.COM on my statement?

Epoch is a payment processor used by many adult sites. Among the platforms we cover, Stripchat (EPOCH.COM*Technius), CamSoda (EPOCH.COM *SECURELIVE), Streamate and Jerkmate (EPOCH.COM *ICFTECHNOL) and BongaCams use it. Epoch's own site has a lookup to find the purchase.

What is JWSbill.com?

LiveJasmin's FAQ names JWSbill.com as one of the two names its charges appear under (the other is CCbill.com).

What is GRANITY ENTERTAINMENT?

CAM4's billing support says charges "will appear as GRANITY ENTERTAINMENT". Granity Entertainment DAC is one of the companies named in CAM4's terms.

What does Chaturbate show on a bank statement?

Chaturbate does not publish its statement descriptor. Its terms say some purchases may be processed by UAB Alternative Payments in Lithuania. For billing questions Chaturbate lists a billing support phone line: 1-877-338-7068.
