What is Streamate?

Streamate is a premium live cam site founded in 2003 and operated by ICF Technology, Inc., a Nevada corporation. It focuses on paid one-on-one time rather than tip-driven public rooms.

What makes Streamate unusual is that it is the core of a large network. ICF's model site says a performer profile "will be visible on over 4000 popular cam sites within our network", and its white-label program, CamBuilder, advertises 4,500 active white labels and 100,000 total active models. Those sites run on the same ICF terms and billing descriptors.

The best-known front end is Jerkmate, which calls itself "the official marketing partner and customer source for Streamate models"; the same performers appeared on both homepages when we checked. Our Jerkmate review explains the relationship.

How Streamate works

Streamate does not sell token or credit packages. It has three layers: free chat; paid chat, billed per minute at the performer's rate and shown "in your local currency before you enter the chat"; and GOLD for tips, Gold Menu items and GOLD Shows. The Terms state: "One GOLD is equal to $1.00 USD", so a 20 GOLD tip costs $20 before taxes or fees.

Nothing is pre-bought. GOLD is "added to any streaming charges incurred and billed in the same manner", and charges may be billed together per billing cycle. Our comparison of token and credit sites covers the trade-offs, and how cam tokens work explains the alternative.

Free chat: is Streamate free?

Yes, the basics are free. The FAQ says: "Your Streamate membership is free, and there is no monthly or recurring fee to view the site", and in free chat "You won't be charged unless you join a paid chat session."

Can you use Streamate without registration? Partly. The Terms list "free live guest chat rooms", and profiles showed "ENTER FREE" when we checked logged out; paid areas need an account. See watching cams without an account.

Private shows: Exclusive and Premium chat

Streamate has two kinds of paid chat, both billed per minute at a rate the performer controls ("Paid chat room fees are solely at the discretion and control of the performer"):

• Exclusive chat: one-on-one only.
• Premium chat: a paid session where "other members can join in and watch too". This is the closest thing Streamate has to a spy or voyeur mode, although it does not use that name.

Block sessions

Instead of paying minute by minute, you can book a discounted block: 5% off for 15 minutes, 10% for 30, 15% for 45 and 20% for 60 minutes, per the FAQ.

GOLD Shows and tipping

A GOLD Show is Streamate's group show: members pledge GOLD during a countdown, the performer sets length, goal and pledge price, and nobody is billed if the performer cancels.

GOLD can be tipped at any time, and performers list priced actions on a Gold Menu (see tipping on cam sites). Jerkmate's page about Streamate models says connected toys can be triggered in real time, but we found no Streamate help article on interactive toys.

Streamate prices: how much does Streamate cost?

What you pay depends on the performer's per-minute rate and how long you stay. Rates are shown only to logged-in members, so we cannot quote a typical range. The published costs:

• First entry to paid areas: card users are charged "$2.00 USD or an amount equal to the first full minute, whichever is greater", which is credited back toward premium purchases.
• Signup: may carry an authorization of about $2.00 USD that expires in 7 to 14 days.
• Taxes and regional fees: EU VAT and Canadian sales tax are added. The Terms add a 10% fee for users in Alabama and a 2% fee in Utah, linked to those states' age-verification laws.
• PayPal: the FAQ says a service charge is added.
• Extras: club memberships and videos are priced by each performer. One club plan we saw was 9.99 USD per month (a single example).

Features

• Club Membership: a premium membership, typically 30 days and recurring, priced by the performer and cancellable in My Account. See fan clubs explained.
• Videos: performer videos sold per item in USD. Members may not record live shows themselves (Terms section D). More on recorded shows.
• HD video: profiles list "High Definition Video" as a feature; no maximum resolution is documented.
• Couples and groups: category pages for couples and group rooms, and the model site welcomes couples and groups (multi-model rooms).

Mobile experience: does Streamate have an app?

No. App Store and Google Play searches found no Streamate app on October 14, 2026, which is normal: both stores ban sexually explicit apps. The site works in a mobile browser, the FAQ is written for touch use, and a "Mobile" category lists performers streaming from phones. Payment methods

Streamate's support page and FAQ confirm credit/debit cards and PayPal (with a service charge). The site's billing configuration, loaded on October 14, 2026 from an Eastern European connection, also listed Paysafecard (3% fee), iDEAL and processor entries such as RocketGate and TripleA; these depend on your country. Privacy and billing: how does Streamate billing appear?

Streamate publishes its descriptors. The support page says "We offer discreet billing" and lists what can appear on a statement:

Refunds, recurring charges and closing your account

The Terms are blunt: "All sales are final. We have a 'no refunds' policy." For technical problems Streamate may give free time or discounts in extraordinary cases. Report billing discrepancies within 30 days.

The basic account has no recurring fee. Club Memberships renew every 30 days until you cancel in My Account. To close the account, use the closure page linked in the FAQ, or email [email protected] with your log-in name, full name and last four card digits, as the Terms describe. Is Streamate safe?

On the points we can check, Streamate is openly documented: a named US operator, Terms dated July 31, 2026, discreet descriptors, 24/7 support and a spending limit. Its privacy notice says it uses "age verification services, where required, and credit card to prove age", and in June 2025 Ofcom named Streamate among services committing to age checks for UK users ahead of the July 25, 2025 Online Safety Act deadline.

For models: Streamate creator features and payouts

Streamate recruits performers through streamatemodels.com. Requirements: 18 or older, a government-issued photo ID, a computer, webcam and internet connection, and a profile photo; applications are reviewed in 24 to 72 hours. Women, men, couples and groups from any country can join, and studios are supported.

How much do Streamate models earn? Streamate does not publish a percentage. Its public pages only say "You'll earn a set percentage of the money spent on you." Performers set their own per-minute rate, payments are issued weekly by check, wire or e-wallets that vary by location, and Streamate says it never penalizes performers for chargebacks. The minimum payout is behind the model login. The main draw is reach across the 4,000+ network sites, plus geo-blocking. For per-minute billing from a separate network, Flirt4Free publishes credit-per-minute ranges for every show type. For a token site, Chaturbate is the usual choice. Jerkmate is not a true alternative: it shows the same Streamate performers.
