CamSoda Review

This CamSoda review starts with the short answer: CamSoda is a free, tip-based cam site where public rooms cost nothing to watch and you pay in tokens for tips, private, spy and group shows. Token packages are published, from $6.99 for 50 tokens down to about $0.08 per token on the largest package, and cam2cam is included in the private rate at no extra cost. Watch the optional Premium membership, which renews at $19.95 a month.

In short

  • Public shows are free with optional tips; model rooms opened logged out when we checked.
  • Official token prices: 50 tokens for $6.99 up to 3,100 tokens for $249.99 (before regional VAT and currency changes).
  • Private shows are priced by each model per minute, billed every 10 seconds; help center "typical" range 6 to 120 tokens per minute.
  • Statements show EPOCH.COM *SECURELIVE or another biller's name, not "CamSoda".
  • Models are paid $0.05 per token weekly, with a $20 minimum on most methods.

What is CamSoda?

CamSoda is a freemium adult cam site built on public rooms, tips and tokens, the same basic model as Chaturbate or Stripchat. Its footer reads "© 2015-2026". The Terms do not name an operating company; the 2257 compliance statement names Secure Live Media, LLC in Miami Beach, Florida as custodian of records, and the same name shows up in the billing descriptor.

When we checked on October 14, 2026, the homepage listed live rooms with filters for private-show price (6-18, 30-60, 90-120 and 120+ tokens per minute) and tags for Cam to Cam, VR Cams and Voyeur Cams. Related properties include a VR site (vr.camsoda.com), a lite mobile site (camsoda.app), Fansoda and CamSoda AI. All performers must be 18 or older and pass ID verification. For context against other platforms, see our best webcam sites ranking.

How CamSoda works

Most of CamSoda happens in public rooms. A performer streams for free, viewers chat and tip, and the performer uses tip menus and goals to fund what happens next. Tipping tools include multi-goals, Spin the Wheel, Scratchoff and Versus. Anyone who wants more can pay for a private, spy or group show, buy recorded media or join the performer's fan club.

There are two account levels. Basic (free) users get "100% free cam chat" and can watch several rooms. Premium is a paid monthly membership that adds extras (covered under Features). Tokens can be bought by any registered user, Premium or not.

Can you use CamSoda without registration?

Yes, for watching. Model rooms with live public chat loaded logged out from our research server on October 14, 2026. In locations with age-verification laws CamSoda asks users to verify before full access, using options that vary by location: a free credit card check, Fast Face Scan age estimation, ID Check, Yoti Digital ID or a live ID check with an agent. Our guide to watching without an account compares guest access across sites.

Free chat: is CamSoda free?

Yes. Watching public shows is free and tipping is optional. CamSoda's help pages describe Basic membership as "100% free cam chat". What costs tokens: tips, tip-menu items, interactive toy tips, private and group shows, spy shows, Golden Ticket shows, media and Share Cam (showing your own webcam in public chat, charged per minute). If free viewing is your main goal, compare CamSoda with the sites in our free webcam sites list.

Private shows and other paid shows

Each performer sets their own per-minute price in tokens. Tokens are collected every 10 seconds. A model can set a minimum duration: if the model ends the show early, you get the rest of the minimum back; if you leave early, there is no refund. CamSoda's help center gives these "typical" ranges, at "1 token ≈ $0.10":

  • Private: 6-120 tokens per minute ($0.60-$12).
  • Exclusive Private: 12-150 tokens per minute ($1.20-$15); no one can spy.
  • Spy: 6-90 tokens per minute ($0.60-$9); watch a private show without interacting. See spy mode explained.

The official model wiki lists default rates of 30 tokens per minute for private and 12 for spy. As an example only: a private show at 30 tokens per minute costs between $2.42 and $4.19 per minute at the package prices below (computed from the cheapest and dearest per-token price). Models also run "Private Specials" with 25% to 75% off.

Cam2Cam, group shows and Golden Ticket

Cam2Cam inside a private show is included in the private rate at no extra cost if the model enables it, which is unusual; many sites charge extra (see cam to cam). Group Shows let several viewers each pay the model's per-minute rate, billed every 10 seconds, joining or leaving at any time. Golden Ticket shows charge a flat ticket price set by the model, and recordings may be sold afterwards. Compare formats in group and ticket shows and private shows explained.

Token system

CamSoda uses tokens. You buy a package, then spend tokens anywhere on the site. Bigger packages carry a bonus (5% up to 27%, per the official FAQ), which lowers the price per token. Special offers are for new members only, once. Tokens are generally non-refundable once delivered, except for duplicate billing, technical errors, unauthorized transactions or fraud, and the Terms call all purchases "final sale". Tokens left in a terminated account are forfeited.

The general mechanics of tokens, and how they compare between sites, are on webcam tokens explained. To turn a token amount into dollars, use the token to dollar converter.

CamSoda token prices

How much are CamSoda tokens? The official FAQ "How can I purchase or add tokens?" lists these packages and says typical packages are "as cheap as $0.08/token". Both the FAQ and the Payments & Tokens help page add: "Exact prices vary by country (VAT, currency exchange, local laws). Users see their final price on the checkout page."

Checked 2026-10-14. Source: camsoda.com. From the official FAQ 'How can I purchase or add tokens?' ('Typical token packages are as cheap as $0.08/token') and the Payments & Tokens help page (same table without the 550 package). Both say 'Exact prices vary by country (VAT, currency exchange, local laws). Users see their final price on the checkout page.' Not stated whether the listed token counts include the bonus; per-token values above computed as price/units. The official CamSoda model wiki (camsodawiki.com, last edited 18 Jun 2026) shows an older/different table: 100/$9.99, 210/$19.99, 550/$49.99, 1205/$99.99, 3100/$249.99. Special offers are for new members only, once. Checkout page itself requires login.

Two notes on this table. First, the official pages do not say whether the token counts include the bonus, so per-token values are simply price divided by tokens. Second, CamSoda's model wiki shows an older, different table (for example 100 tokens for $9.99 and 210 for $19.99); we use the help center and FAQ figures. The full cost picture, including Premium and fan clubs, is on our CamSoda pricing page.

Features

Premium membership

Premium costs $19.95 per month and auto-renews. It removes ads, unlocks private messaging, lets you change tip volume and adds anonymous tipping and Invisible Mode. The first Premium purchase includes 200 free tokens as a one-time bonus.

Fan clubs

Fan clubs have three tiers. Supporter gives a badge, unlimited private messages, 25% off Golden Tickets and exclusive media. Insider adds free spying on the model's private shows, 50% off Golden Tickets and 10% off privates and the tip menu. Legend includes free Golden Ticket access and 25% off privates. Prices are set per model. Pay with tokens for a three-month non-recurring subscription, or by card for a monthly recurring one. More in fan clubs explained.

VR, voyeur cams and toys

CamSoda has VR models and a VR site that supports Meta Quest headsets, Apple Vision Pro, Valve Index and Android Cardboard among others, with private and Golden Ticket shows in VR. In February 2026 CamSoda announced an integration of Dreamcam's VR streaming technology (XBIZ). See VR webcam sites. Separate "Voyeur Cams" offer a 24-hour playback timeline. Lovense toys are supported, with an "Interactive Toys" tag (see interactive toys).

Recordings and media

Models sell videos, images and recorded shows at their own prices. If a model enables recording for a private show (stated before it starts), the recording goes to your media collection. More in recorded shows.

Mobile experience

Does CamSoda have an app? Not in the App Store or Google Play: we found none in either store on October 14, 2026, and Apple and Google both ban sexual content in their stores. CamSoda instead offers an installable web app (PWA). On iPhone you add it with Safari's "Add to Home Screen"; on Android through Chrome or Samsung Internet, or the "Get Now" install bar. There is also a lighter version at camsoda.app. Help for each phone type: cam sites on iPhone and cam sites on Android.

Payment methods

CamSoda's token FAQ lists one of the broadest sets of payment options we have seen. Availability varies by country.

  • Cards: Visa, Mastercard, Discover, Maestro, JCB. See paying by card.
  • PayPal (through Epoch).
  • Crypto: Bitcoin, Ethereum and others. See crypto on cam sites.
  • Prepaid and gift cards: PaySafeCard and retail gift cards through Paygarden (Walmart, Target, Best Buy, Home Depot, Costco and more). See Paysafecard and prepaid cards.
  • Bank methods: iDeal, Pay By Bank, Mister Cash, BLIK, Sofort, PIX, EPS, Przelewy24, Euteller, bank wire and money order.

Privacy and billing

How does CamSoda billing appear?

CamSoda's support page says "EPOCH.COM *SECURELIVE" appears on your statement for Epoch and PayPal purchases. Other billers show their own name: Segpay, CCBill, or csoda-bill.com for Rocketgate. The safety page sums it up as "securelive" (or similar) or the biller's name. Descriptors for every site are in how cam charges appear on statements.

Recurring charges

  • Premium renews at $19.95/month. Cancel on the Membership page or through [email protected]; you get an email confirmation.
  • Fan clubs paid by card renew monthly (token-paid ones are three months, non-recurring).
  • Easy Re-ups is optional automatic token replenishment (Settings > Settings & Privacy > Easy Re-ups).
  • Token Credit accounts can spend up to a daily limit and are charged later.

If you want out of any of these, see how to stop recurring billing.

Is CamSoda safe?

CamSoda offers the privacy tools we look for: a neutral descriptor, two-factor authentication by authenticator app or email, Invisible Mode and anonymous tipping for Premium members, and a daily spending limit setting. Set up 2FA as described in account security on cam sites. To delete your account and data, contact CamSoda's data protection officer ([email protected] for EU persons, [email protected] otherwise) while you can still log in; our account deletion guide covers the steps. The Terms say the site must not be accessed from China, Cuba, Iran, Iraq, Libya, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Syria or other countries under US embargo.

For models: creator features and payouts

How much do CamSoda models earn? CamSoda's official FAQ says each token is worth $0.05 to the model ("May vary by region"), and the model wiki gives $0.05 to $0.055 per token. Other official pages use percentages that do not match that wording: the models signup page promises "55% or more revenue share", and a help-center summary gives approximate splits of about 60% on tips and privates. We report all three and treat the per-token FAQ figure as the most specific. Measured against what viewers pay, $0.05 is about 36% of the $0.140 per-token price on the smallest package and about 62% of the $0.081 price on the largest (our calculation).

PlatformModel shareMinimum payoutSchedulePayout methods
CamSoda$0.05 per token$20 (most methods)WeeklyCheck (US & Canada), Direct deposit/ACH (US only; posts as 'chexx'), Domestic or international wire, Paxum (international models), Mass Pay and Uphold on request via accounting

Payouts are weekly: the pay period runs Monday to Sunday and payment usually goes out the following Thursday if the minimum is met. The minimum is $20 for most methods and $500 for international wire. Methods are check (US and Canada), ACH direct deposit (US), domestic and international wire, and Paxum, with Mass Pay and Uphold on request. CamSoda's FAQ says it does not currently pay models in crypto. After six months, models grossing $3,500 or more a month can get a health insurance assistance bonus.

Sign-up needs a government photo ID, a face scan with the ID and a W-9 or W-8BEN tax form. Models broadcast from the browser or through OBS, and can block any country or US state. Full details: how to become a CamSoda model and webcam platform fees compared.

CamSoda review: pros and cons

Pros

  • Token prices published on official pages, from about $0.08 per token on large packages.
  • Free public shows you can watch without an account (region permitting).
  • Cam2Cam included in the private rate; spy, group, exclusive and Golden Ticket formats.
  • Broad payment choice: PayPal, crypto, bank methods, retail gift cards.
  • 2FA, Invisible Mode, VR support; weekly model payouts with a $20 minimum.

Cons

  • Premium auto-renews at $19.95/month.
  • Tokens are generally non-refundable; Terms call purchases "final sale".
  • Official pages disagree on the token table and on model payout percentages.
  • Model payout of $0.05 per token is 36% to 62% of what viewers pay, depending on package.
  • No app in the App Store or Google Play (PWA only).

Best alternatives to CamSoda

The closest alternatives are other token sites with free public rooms. Chaturbate is the larger tip-based site, Stripchat also offers VR and spy shows, and MyFreeCams swaps model-set prices for fixed, published rates. See Chaturbate vs CamSoda and CamSoda vs Stripchat for head-to-heads, or our full list of CamSoda alternatives.

Final verdict

CamSoda is a good pick if you want free public shows, clear published token prices and a wide choice of paid formats, with cam2cam thrown into private shows and VR for headset owners. Be careful with the recurring extras (Premium, card-paid fan clubs, Easy Re-ups) and remember tokens are final sale. For models, weekly payouts and a $20 minimum are friendly, though the per-token value is modest. Our CamSoda review verdict: one of the more transparent token sites for viewers.
