CAM4 Review

The short version of this CAM4 review: CAM4 is a free, tip-based cam site where you can watch public shows without an account (region permitting) and pay in tokens for tips and private, spy, cam2cam and group shows at prices each performer sets. From an EU connection, tokens cost about EUR 0.17 to EUR 0.22 each plus a transaction fee, and since September 2026 purchased tokens expire if unused for six months. Performers earn a fixed $0.10 per token.

What is CAM4?

CAM4 is a freemium adult cam site built on public shows and tips. Its footer copyright runs from 2007 to 2026. Under the Terms (last revised September 8, 2026), the platform is owned and operated by Tropistream Corporation N.V. in Curaçao, while Granity Entertainment DAC (Ireland) supplies memberships and content to users including those in the EU and TLE Opportunities LLC (New York) does the same for users including those in the US.

The live directory has sections for female, male, couple and trans performers, and filters such as cam2cam (C2C), Private Show, Group Show, Live Touch and HD. In March 2026 CAM4 launched "Niches", 75+ niche feeds for discovery, and its blog reports a Cam Company of the Year win at the 2026 XBIZ Awards. All broadcasters must be 18+ and ID-verified. How CAM4 works

CAM4 follows the classic tip-site model. Performers stream publicly for free, viewers tip toward goals and tip-menu items, and anyone who wants more can take the performer into a paid show. The site adds a lot of tipping mechanics: virtual Gifts, Beat The Leader, a Games Center (Roll the Dice, Token Keno, Spin the Wheel) and Boost, which costs 25 tokens for 5 minutes. Performers can also post photos and videos to an Activity Feed, free, token-locked or for fan club members only.

You can use CAM4 at three levels: as a guest, as a free member, or with the paid Gold membership. Tokens are bought separately from Gold.

Can you use CAM4 without registration?

Often, yes. The Terms define a "C4 Guest" as an adult viewing public parts of the site without an account, and the directory and public shows loaded logged out when we checked. In some regions an overlay asks you to "create a free account and verify your age" under local law; one option is a free card check where "Nothing will be debited". Free chat: is CAM4 free?

Yes, watching public shows is free, and tipping is optional. Paid parts are tips, private, spy, cam2cam and group shows, locked posts, fan clubs and Gold. One regional exception: users in Sweden (by IP) cannot chat, message, take private shows or make paid interactive requests under Swedish Law Proposition 2024/25:124, though they can still watch free public shows. Private shows and other paid shows

Performers set all show prices in tokens. CAM4's help center describes these formats:

Per-minute private: tiers of 6, 12, 18, 24 (default), 30, 40, 50, 60, 80, 100 or 120 tokens per minute. CAM4 says average private pricing is about 12.57 tokens per minute. See private shows explained.
Fixed-rate private: a block of time for a set price, for example 15 minutes for 50 tokens.
Offline Private Shows: you can request a show while the performer is offline, within the availability they set.
Spy: watch someone else's private show without chatting, at 3 to 60 tokens per minute. Free spy access is a common fan club perk. See spy mode.
Cam2Cam: inside a private show, at a separate per-minute rate the performer sets (CAM4 recommends 1.25x to 1.5x the regular rate). Only the performer sees you. See cam to cam.
Group shows: the performer sets a ticket price, a token goal and a time limit. Ticket holders are refunded if the show is cancelled, the performer leaves for more than 5 minutes or after 3 disconnects. See ticket shows and group shows.

Worked example (rate labelled as an example): at the default 24 tokens per minute, a minute of private costs about EUR 4.08 with the 1,000-token package and EUR 5.26 with the 50-token package, before the transaction fee. At the 12.57-token average CAM4 quotes, it is about EUR 2.14 to EUR 2.75 per minute. Cross-site prices are on what a private webcam show costs.

Token system

CAM4 uses tokens for everything except fan clubs paid by card. Three rules matter more here than on most sites:

Tokens expire. The Terms, revised September 8, 2026, say purchased tokens unused for six months after purchase expire without refund. Forfeited tokens go to the Cam4Cares program. A good habit if you visit rarely: buy smaller packages.
There is a transaction fee. CAM4's FAQ confirms "Token purchases have a transaction fee", and the checkout says the fee will be added. The amount is only shown at a logged-in checkout.
No general refund policy. The Terms say refunds and chargebacks are reviewed under applicable law, card-network rules, processor requirements and CAM4 policy. Group-show tickets are refunded automatically in the cases above.

How much does CAM4 cost? We read the packages from the public checkout data that cam4.com loads for logged-out visitors. Our server is in the Netherlands, so prices came back in euros and may differ in other countries; US dollar prices were not visible from the EU.

Each product carries a 'tf' (transaction fee) flag; the FAQ confirms 'Token purchases have a transaction fee' and the UI string reads 'A {amount} transaction fee will be added to your purchase' - amount not shown logged out. These are card prices. Through one e-wallet payment method the checkout offered 10% fewer tokens for the same price (for example 45 instead of 50); the method is not named in the data. Features

Gold membership

Gold cost EUR 19.99 per 30 days at the EU checkout on October 14, 2026, with a one-time 100 free tokens on upgrade. It can also be paid with 125 tokens a month. Perks listed in the site's interface include no ads, private messages to performers, anonymous tipping and chat, automatic chat translation, a monthly Gold gift, one free Boost a month, bonus token offers and password-protected Private Rooms.

Fan clubs

Each performer can run a monthly fan club, priced by the performer in US dollars from $1 per month plus local taxes. The viewer FAQ says card is the only way to subscribe (billed through Segpay; the performer FAQ also names Epoch). Subscriptions rebill every 30 days without a reminder email; cancel in My Account > Payments & Subscriptions > Fan Clubs. Perks can include exclusive content, free spy, a badge and messaging. Interactive toys, couples and HD

CAM4 supports Lovense toys and has a "Live Touch" filter (see interactive toys). There is a couples section and an "HD" filter, though CAM4 does not document maximum resolution. We found no current VR feature. Performers can record live shows to their Media Vault and sell them as locked posts (see recorded shows).

Mobile experience

Does CAM4 have an app? Not for viewers. CAM4's FAQ says you watch in your phone's browser, with "no app or downloads needed", and you can add the site to your home screen. Apple and Google both ban sexual content in their app stores. The only CAM4 apps in the stores are for performers: the C4 broadcaster app, on Google Play and, since July 2026, on the App Store. CAM4's billing support pages list these ways to buy tokens, depending on your country:

Credit and debit cards via Epoch, SegPay and DialXS/CuroPayments (see paying by card).
PayPal and Paysafe (as CAM4's help center names it).
Pay by phone via Commdoo: landline in Germany, Austria and Switzerland; landline and mobile in the UK.
European bank methods via DialXS: iDEAL, Bancontact, GiroPay, Sofort/Klarna, Dankort.
Gift cards from 100+ brands in the US, redeemed at below face value (see prepaid and gift cards).

Privacy and billing

How does CAM4 billing appear?

CAM4's billing support says: "For your discretion, your charges will appear as GRANITY ENTERTAINMENT on your statement". The fan club FAQ adds that "CAM4 will not appear on your credit card statement". The processor's name (Epoch, Segpay or DialXS) can also appear next to the charge. Recurring charges

Token purchases are one-off, though you can save a card with "1-Click Checkout" (disable it to remove the card). Gold renews monthly through the processor you used, so you cancel with that processor, or by deleting your account, which cancels Gold automatically. Fan clubs rebill every 30 days. Is CAM4 safe?

CAM4's documented safeguards are good: a neutral billing name, two-factor authentication by SMS or email (mandatory for members who buy and for broadcasters), anonymous gifts, anonymous tipping and chat for Gold members, and GDPR privacy settings. Account deletion is self-service under My Account > Account Settings > Account > Delete Account and is permanent. For models: creator features and payouts

How much do CAM4 models earn? CAM4 publishes a fixed value: "Each token = $0.10 USD, 100 tokens = $10.00". Fan club subscriptions paid by card pay the performer 80% of the price; token-paid subscriptions follow the standard token value. Viewers in the EU paid EUR 0.17 to EUR 0.22 per token at checkout, so the comparison crosses currencies and we do not quote a percentage.

The minimum payout is $50 for most methods, and earnings carry a 3-day reserve. Payout speed depends on the method: Yoursafe and Euro wire daily, US ACH weekly on Fridays, Canada direct deposit daily on weekdays, WPayments in 3 to 5 business days and USDT almost instantly. Other methods are Paxum, Pinguino (Colombia and Venezuela, $5 fee), Moneibox and converting cash to tokens. There are no PayPal payouts, and you must be broadcasting when you request a payment. Performers sign up for free, verify ID for everyone on camera and can broadcast from the browser, OBS or the C4 app on Android and iOS. CAM4 lets them block any number of countries, states and provinces (the former three-country limit is gone; see geo-blocking). Studios can register with business documents, and the top 20 performers each month win Cam of the Month prizes of $250 to $2,500.
