Webcam Sites on iPhone

Webcam sites on iPhone work in Safari, and you can add them to your home screen as a web app. There is no full-featured cam app for viewers in Apple's App Store, because Apple's guideline 1.1.4 bans pornographic apps, and none of the platforms we track has an iOS viewer app elsewhere either; LiveJasmin's FAQ says "iOS devices are excluded currently" from its app.

Smartphone showing a screen of app icons
  1. Open the cam site in Safari by typing its address. Safari is the browser the platforms' own iPhone guides use.
  2. Tap the Share button at the bottom (or top) of the screen.
  3. Scroll down and tap Add to Home Screen. Edit the name if you like and tap Add.
  4. Open the site from the new icon. On sites built as PWAs, such as Stripchat and CamSoda, it opens full-screen like an app.
  5. Log in once. Your account, tokens and settings are the same as on the website.

In short

  • No cam platform we track has a viewer app in the App Store; App Store searches returned 0 results for each name we checked on October 14, 2026.
  • Chaturbate, Stripchat, BongaCams, CamSoda, MyFreeCams and SkyPrivate document Add to Home Screen for iPhone.
  • In the UK, Apple asks adults to confirm their age; unconfirmed accounts get content filters switched on.
  • Apple Pay is rare on cam sites; XloveCam was the only one we track that listed it.
  • Performers can broadcast from Safari on several sites, or use CAM4's C4 app or BongaCams' BM Broadcaster from the App Store.

Why there is no cam app in the App Store

Apple's App Store Review Guideline 1.1.4 bans "overtly sexual or pornographic material", and guideline 1.2 says apps with user-generated content used "primarily for pornographic content" do not belong on the App Store. A cam site is exactly that, so no full-featured adult cam app can be listed. Every platform we track relies on the mobile website, so webcam sites on iPhone are always used through the browser. The same rule applies on Android in Google Play, as our webcam apps overview explains.

Outside the App Store, Apple allows alternative distribution only in some regions: in the EU through marketplaces and developer websites, and in Brazil and Japan through marketplaces. Apps distributing pornography can exist there but are "unrated" and blocked by age restrictions on the device. An adult video app, Hot Tub, launched that way in the EU in February 2025. We found no official cam-platform app in an EU alternative marketplace.

Using webcam sites on iPhone, platform by platform

Every platform works in Safari. What differs is whether the platform documents a home-screen web app. Checked October 14, 2026:

Age checks on iPhone in the UK

Apple now asks UK Apple Account holders to confirm they are 18 or older, for example with a credit card or an ID scan. Adults who have not confirmed get Web Content Filter and Communication Safety switched on, which can block adult sites in Safari. If cam sites will not load on a UK iPhone, check this setting first. Separately, UK law has required "highly effective" age checks on adult sites since 25 July 2025, so a cam site may also ask you to verify. More on cam sites in the UK.

Paying for tokens on an iPhone

You buy tokens through the platform's web checkout in Safari, exactly as on a computer, so the same cards, crypto and local methods are available. Apple Pay is the exception: Apple's acceptable use guidelines for Apple Pay on the web list pornography and sites that primarily offer "sexually-oriented items or services" as prohibited uses. Among the platforms we track, only XloveCam's credit page listed Apple Pay (for EUR 25 to 300, seen from an EU connection). Our token buying guide covers the alternatives.

Broadcasting from an iPhone

Performer apps are allowed in the App Store because they are streaming tools rather than adult viewers. For iPhone, the platforms document:

  • CAM4: "C4 - Broadcast From Anywhere" in the App Store, launched on iOS in July 2026.
  • BongaCams: BM Broadcaster in the App Store, iOS 12.4 or later.
  • Stripchat: streaming from Safari or the PWA, or the third-party Plasma Streaming app.
  • Chaturbate: the Broadcast button on the mobile site in Safari, Chrome, Firefox or Samsung Internet on iOS.

LiveJasmin's model app comes from the Model Center; whether it runs on iPhone is not stated on public pages. More on phone streaming in our mobile cams feature.

Staying safe with cam sites on iPhone

Because no official viewer app exists, treat any App Store app or configuration profile claiming to be a cam site as unofficial. As general best practice:

  • Add web apps only from the platform's own site in Safari.
  • Never install a configuration profile or "enterprise" app to get a cam app; those can give a third party broad control of your device.
  • Use a Safari private tab if you share your phone, and lock the device.
  • Turn on two-step verification where the platform offers it.

More tips are in our privacy guide for cam sites.

FAQ

Why is there no cam app in the App Store?

Apple's App Store Review Guideline 1.1.4 bans overtly sexual or pornographic material. Cam platforms therefore serve iPhone users through the mobile website and home-screen web apps.

How do I add a cam site to my iPhone home screen?

Open the official site in Safari, tap Share, then Add to Home Screen. The icon opens the site with your normal login.

Can I use Apple Pay on cam sites?

Rarely. Apple's rules for Apple Pay on the web prohibit pornography sites. XloveCam was the only platform we track that listed Apple Pay; the others use cards, crypto and other web payment methods.

Can I broadcast from my iPhone?

Yes, on several platforms. CAM4 and BongaCams have broadcaster apps in the App Store, and Chaturbate and Stripchat support streaming from mobile Safari.
