Chaturbate App: Using Chaturbate on Mobile

1. Open chaturbate.com in your phone's browser. On iPhone use Safari; on Android use Chrome or Samsung Internet. Chaturbate's help article covers these three.
2. Open the browser menu. On iPhone tap the Share button; on Android tap the menu.
3. Choose Add to Home Screen and confirm the name.
4. Launch Chaturbate from the new icon. It opens the mobile site with your normal login and token balance.

Why there is no Chaturbate app

Apple's App Store guideline 1.1.4 bans overtly sexual or pornographic material, and Google Play's policy bans apps with sexual content. A full Chaturbate app would break both rules, so Chaturbate does what most cam sites do: it keeps everything on the mobile website and offers a home-screen shortcut. Unlike LiveJasmin, it does not offer an Android APK either. The background is explained in our overview of webcam apps and mobile cam sites.

The upside is that there is nothing to update and no extra permissions to grant. The mobile site is the same Chaturbate as on desktop, with the same account, tokens and settings.

What works on Chaturbate mobile

Chaturbate's help center says: "You can broadcast, watch videos, hear sound, tip, and chat on mobile devices." In practice that covers the core of the site:

• Watching public rooms without an account, as on desktop. Broadcaster geo-blocks apply to "Viewers, both anonymous and registered."
• Chat and private messages with a free account (starting a private message needs Supporter, or the broadcaster messages you first).
• Tipping and private shows with tokens. Private show rates are set per broadcaster; the homepage filter on October 14, 2026 grouped them from 6 to 90+ tokens per minute.
• Fan clubs and Supporter perks follow your account to mobile.

Cam to Cam now requires completing Chaturbate's "streamlined age verification process" because of age verification law requirements, so expect a check before you can use it on any device.

Buying tokens on your phone

Tokens are bought through the same login-only purchase page as on desktop, so package prices are not visible before you sign in. Chaturbate lists cards, seven cryptocurrencies (minimum 250 tokens), wire transfer at $0.08 per token, money order and gift cards, plus other methods by location. Its VAT article warns that "your price may be updated after you enter your billing information." Package details and what you actually pay are on the Chaturbate pricing page, and what a token is worth on Chaturbate tokens explained.

Account tasks that need desktop

A few account functions are documented for the desktop site. Supporter memberships ($19.95 a month) and fan clubs are cancelled at My Profile > Memberships, and Chaturbate's cancellation help refers to desktop. Account deactivation uses the "Disable Account" link at the bottom of the homepage while logged in. If you mainly use your phone, plan to do these steps on a computer. See how to cancel cam site memberships for all platforms.

Broadcasting from a phone

Chaturbate has no broadcaster app, but its mobile site has a Broadcast button. According to the help center, mobile broadcasting works in portrait and landscape on iOS (Safari, Chrome, Firefox, Samsung Internet) and Android (Chrome, Samsung Internet), and supports private shows and tip notes. Sending chat messages while broadcasting from mobile is listed as "coming soon". For higher quality, Chaturbate supports OBS and other RTMP encoders on desktop, up to 4K. Performers can find payout and setup details on our Chaturbate creator guide.

Fake Chaturbate apps

Because there is no official app, anything called "Chaturbate" in an app store, on an APK download site or in an ad is unofficial. As general best practice, do not install it and never enter your Chaturbate password into it. Signs of a fake include "free tokens" offers, payment forms outside Chaturbate's checkout, and requests for permissions such as contacts or SMS.

To keep your account safe on mobile, turn on 2-Step Verification in the Security Center. Chaturbate supports SMS, phone calls, authenticator apps and YubiKey, and says the authenticator and SMS messages do not mention Chaturbate. Our account security guide covers the rest.

Looking for a site with an app-like experience?

If you want something closer to a real app, Stripchat offers an installable web app with notifications (see Stripchat on mobile), and LiveJasmin offers an Android APK. For a full comparison of the sites, read the Chaturbate review or our list of Chaturbate alternatives.
