Cam to Cam on Cam Sites
Cam to cam (cam2cam or C2C) lets you turn on your own webcam so the performer can see you during a show. On some platforms it is free for members, on others it is included in the private show rate, and on some it costs an extra per-minute fee. Since 2026 Chaturbate also requires viewers to pass an age verification step before using it.

What cam to cam is
In a normal show the video goes one way: from the performer to you. Cam to cam adds your webcam to the session so it becomes two-way. On some sites it is video only; on others you can also enable your microphone. The performer sees you, but other viewers do not: Cam4 says only the performer sees the viewer, and Stripchat's Cam2Cam show has no spies.
On SkyPrivate the whole service is two-way: every show is a video call in Teams, Discord, Telegram or SP Chat, and the site describes its pay-per-minute calls as cam2cam shows.
How cam to cam works
- Check eligibility. You may need a paid balance, a Premium status or, on Chaturbate, age verification.
- Start it in the right mode. On Stripchat you choose Start Private > Cam2Cam; on Cam4, Streamate and LiveJasmin it runs inside a private session; on CamSoda and Cams.com it also works in public chat for a fee.
- Allow camera access in your browser and, if offered, the microphone.
- Wait for the performer to accept. Chaturbate and Streamate state that the performer must accept the request.
- Pay as you go at the cam2cam rate, the private rate, or nothing extra, depending on the site.

ImLive's host agreement says a member "may also elect to chat via audio/video (or text) directly to the Host/Model", but we could not confirm how that works or what it costs on the member side.
Age verification for cam to cam
Chaturbate's help center now says that using Cam to Cam requires completing its "streamlined age verification process" "due to age verification law requirements". It is the clearest example of a platform tying viewer age checks to this feature, because cam to cam means a viewer's own image is sent to the performer.
Wider age-verification rules can also apply before you get that far. In the UK, every site that allows pornography has had to use "highly effective" age checks since 25 July 2025, and 27 US states have age-verification laws for adult sites. Platforms respond in different ways: CamSoda offers a credit card check, face-scan age estimation, ID check, Yoti Digital ID or a live ID check depending on location; Flirt4Free uses a one-time selfie check or AgeGO login in some regions; Cam4 offers a free card check where "nothing will be debited". Privacy when you turn your camera on
Cam to cam is the one feature where you are on screen, so it deserves a moment of thought. Good habits: check what is visible behind you, remember that the performer sees you, and use the audio-off option if you prefer (Chaturbate's C2C is video only anyway, and CamSoda's public Share Cam has no audio). Platform rules forbid recording shows, but you cannot verify what happens on the other side of any video call. Our guide to cam site privacy covers this in more depth.
Limitations
- Acceptance is not guaranteed. Performers can decline, and on CamSoda the model has to enable it.
- Extra cost adds up. On Stripchat the cam2cam range goes to 250 tokens a minute, higher than the 150 maximum for a standard private.
- One viewer at a time on XLoveCam: only the first user connected to a private can use it.
- Not in every show type. Flirt4Free excludes Group Chat, Cams.com excludes Goal shows.
- Verification can be required, as on Chaturbate, which means sharing data with an age-verification provider.

Is cam to cam free?
On some sites. MyFreeCams lets any member share their webcam free, BongaCams makes it free for Premium members, and CamSoda includes it in the private rate. Stripchat, Cam4, Cams.com, Jerkmate and LiveJasmin charge extra per minute.
Which cam sites have cam2cam?
Chaturbate, Stripchat, BongaCams, CamSoda, MyFreeCams, Cam4, LiveJasmin, Streamate, Jerkmate, Flirt4Free, Cams.com, XLoveCam and SkyPrivate all document it. ImLive's version could not be confirmed.
Why does Chaturbate ask me to verify my age for cam to cam?
Its help center says the step is required "due to age verification law requirements". You complete a streamlined age verification process before you can use the feature.
Can the model hear me in cam2cam?
Depends on the site. Chaturbate's C2C is video only. Stripchat's Exclusive Private lets the model see and hear you, LiveJasmin offers two-way audio with some models, and XLoveCam lets the first private user use a microphone.
Who can see my webcam in cam2cam?
The performer. Cam4 says only the performer sees the viewer, and Stripchat's Cam2Cam show has no spies. MyFreeCams lets you choose which models or members can view your cam.
