CamSoda, whose records custodian is Secure Live Media, LLC in Miami Beach, is more transparent on price. Stripchat, run by Technius Ltd in Cyprus since 2016, has the bigger feature set and a more detailed help center.

CamSoda gives basic users "100% free cam chat", and public rooms with live chat and tip menus loaded logged out when we checked. Stripchat calls itself "100% free with instant access", and its homepage showed about 8,200 live rooms logged out on October 14, 2026. On both, chatting needs a free account, and some locations require age verification before full access. Stripchat models can limit their chat to verified users or token holders. Private shows, cam to cam and other paid shows
Both bill per minute at the performer's rate. CamSoda collects tokens every 10 seconds; Stripchat stops the show when you run out of tokens.

CamSoda's figures are "typical" ranges from its help center, not hard limits. The cam to cam difference matters most: CamSoda says Cam2Cam in a private costs nothing extra if the model enables it, while Stripchat runs it as its own show type with a range up to 250 tokens per minute. Both let models set a minimum duration; on CamSoda you are refunded unused minimum time only if the model ends early, and on Stripchat leaving early charges the minimum. Token prices
Both sites price tokens in US dollars, but treat the numbers differently. CamSoda lists packages in its official FAQ, from 50 tokens for $6.99 to 3,100 tokens for $249.99, and says final prices vary by country (VAT, exchange rate, local law). It does not say whether the listed counts include bonus tokens.

('Typical token packages are as cheap as $0.08/token') and the Payments & Tokens help page (same table without the 550 package). Both say 'Exact prices vary by country (VAT, currency exchange, local laws). Users see their final price on the checkout page.' Not stated whether the listed token counts include the bonus; per-token values above computed as price/units. The official CamSoda model wiki (camsodawiki.com, last edited 18 Jun 2026) shows an older/different table: 100/$9.99, 210/$19.99, 550/$49.99, 1205/$99.99, 3100/$249.99. Special offers are for new members only, once. Checkout page itself requires login.
Stripchat's live price list is login-only and "depends on country and payment method". The only prices it publishes are an example table in its payout help article, from 200 tokens for $20.99 ($0.1049 each) to 12,570 tokens for $999.99 ($0.0795 each). Treat that as Stripchat's own example, not a guaranteed checkout price.
On these numbers the two are close: a 30-tokens-per-minute private (an example rate inside both ranges) for 10 minutes costs 300 tokens, about $30 at CamSoda's 400-token rate (about $0.10 per token) and about $31 at Stripchat's 200-token example rate. Memberships, fan clubs and recurring billing
- CamSoda Premium: $19.95 per month, auto-renews; ad-free, private messages, invisible mode and anonymous tips, plus 200 free tokens once on the first purchase.
- Stripchat Ultimate: price not published publicly; sold as one month, monthly or annual. Adds invisible mode, anonymous tips and unlimited private messages (otherwise only Ultimate members and Friends can message models).
- Fan clubs: both have three tiers priced by the model. CamSoda: paying with tokens buys a three-month, non-recurring membership, while card payment renews monthly. Stripchat: monthly or upfront for 3, 6 or 12 months, auto-renewing monthly unless cancelled.
- Auto top-up: CamSoda "Easy Re-ups" and Stripchat Auto-Refill (up to 4 refills per 24 hours) are both optional.

Both support VR in a headset browser (CamSoda added Dreamcam VR technology in February 2026) and interactive toys. Stripchat launched Magic Search in September 2026, a natural-language search in 50+ languages. CamSoda's homepage filters rooms by private rate (6-18, 30-60, 90-120 and 120+ tokens per minute). Private show recordings: CamSoda delivers them to your collection if the model enables recording; Stripchat saves them to "My Collection" at up to 720p, not downloadable.
Mobile
Neither has an App Store or Google Play app. CamSoda offers a full mobile site, an installable PWA and a lite version at camsoda.app. Stripchat's help center says there is no store app or APK and warns against apps claiming to be Stripchat. See cam site apps.
Payments, billing and refunds
Payment methods. CamSoda takes major cards, PayPal via Epoch, crypto, many European bank methods, retail gift cards, bank wire and money orders. Stripchat takes cards, PayPal, paysafecard, mobile billing, gift cards, "more than 50" cryptocurrencies and bank wire (minimum 500 USD, EUR or GBP).
Statement names. CamSoda: "EPOCH.COM *SECURELIVE" or the biller's name. Stripchat: EPOCH.COM*Technius, SegpayEU.com-TechChat, Paymentico.com, centrobill.com or Technius Ltd. Neither shows its brand name directly in most cases; read how cam charges look on a statement.
Refunds. This is Stripchat's clearest win. It refunds money for your last package if bought within 30 days with tokens unused (card or PayPal only). CamSoda calls purchases "final sale", with exceptions for duplicate billing, technical errors and unauthorized transactions.
Regions and regulation
CamSoda's terms bar access from China, Cuba, Iran, Iraq, Libya, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Syria and other US-embargoed countries, and it offers several age-check options where law requires them (card check, face scan, ID check, Yoti). Stripchat publishes no blocked-country list. On March 26, 2026 the European Commission preliminarily found Stripchat in breach of the Digital Services Act over minor protection; the finding is not final.

Both pay $0.05 per token. Stripchat says that equals 48% to 63% of the package price and pays weekly on Tuesdays, with a $50 minimum on several methods. CamSoda pays weekly (usually Thursday) with a $20 minimum on most methods. Its model pages also claim "55% or more", and a help-center page gives approximate splits around 60%; those figures conflict with the $0.05 rate and we do not treat them as confirmed. For viewers who value price transparency and cam to cam, CamSoda is the better buy. For viewers who want the most formats, better discovery and a written refund rule, Stripchat is ahead.
