How buying tokens with crypto works

The flow is similar across platforms, though only the logged-in checkout shows the exact steps:

1. Choose crypto at checkout and pick a package or amount (Chaturbate requires at least 250 tokens).
2. Select the coin and, where offered, the network. SkyPrivate, for instance, takes USDT on ERC-20, BSC, Polygon or Tron. Sending on the wrong network can lose the funds.
3. Send the exact amount to the address or QR code shown (Flirt4Free uses a "Choose a Coin" QR flow).
4. Wait for the payment to confirm. Tokens or credits are added once the processor sees it.

General best practice: send a small first purchase to check the flow, copy addresses rather than typing them, and never send crypto to an address someone gives you in chat. Paying a person directly is not a platform payment; see how to avoid webcam scams.

Rates and fees

Chaturbate is the only platform that claims a better price for crypto: "Cryptocurrency gives you the best rate when purchasing tokens". It does not state the rate, so we cannot compare it with card prices (its published wire rate is $0.08 per token). Other platforms do not publish crypto-specific pricing.

Two costs are outside the platform's price: the network fee to send the transaction, and any spread or fee charged by the exchange or wallet you buy from. Neither is published by the cam sites, and both change constantly, so check them in your wallet before sending. On the merchant side, crypto processors charge the platform; NOWPayments, which markets an adult-platform product, advertises deposit fees from 1%. Whether that reaches viewers' prices is not published.

Not every crypto processor works with adult sites. BitPay's support page lists "Sexually explicit content" and "Sexually-related services" among prohibited industries, which is one reason platforms use specialist processors.

Speed

Platforms do not publish confirmation times. In general, crypto payments are credited once the network confirms the transaction, which can take from moments to longer depending on the coin and how busy the network is. Stablecoins on fast networks are usually quicker than Bitcoin. If speed matters for a live show, top up before you need the tokens.

Privacy: better, not total

Crypto keeps the purchase off your bank and card statements, and the cam site never sees a card number. SkyPrivate goes as far as marketing crypto top-ups as "Anonymous Payments". The limits:

• You still need an account on the cam site, and age checks apply where the law requires them.
• Public blockchains record transfers between addresses permanently.
• If you bought the coins on an exchange that verified your identity, the exchange can link you to the purchase.
• Cams.com's terms, updated October 1, 2026, include KYC and anti-money-laundering provisions alongside crypto payments.

Refunds: assume crypto is final

This is the biggest difference from cards. SkyPrivate says crypto (and Bancontact) top-ups cannot be refunded. Cams.com's terms treat crypto payments as final, with refunds only at the company's discretion. Stripchat refunds money only for card or PayPal purchases, so a crypto package is not eligible for a cash refund there. Recurring billing implications

Crypto is a push payment: you send each transaction yourself, so a platform cannot charge it again. Platforms' auto-refill features confirm this by design: Chaturbate's Auto Refill works with credit cards only, and Stripchat's Auto-Refill runs on cards and PayPal. Memberships bought with crypto will not renew automatically, which is a built-in spending cap, but it also means you need to top up manually before a show. Yes. Chaturbate accepts BTC, LTC, DOGE, ETH, BCH, AVAX and DOT, with a minimum of 250 tokens, and says crypto gives the best rate when buying tokens.

Does Stripchat accept crypto?

Yes, more than 50 cryptocurrencies according to its purchase guide, including Bitcoin, USDT, USDC, Ethereum, Solana and Ripple. Money refunds on Stripchat apply only to card and PayPal purchases.
