Prepaid and virtual cards
These work like any card at checkout where accepted. Stripchat's purchase guide names credit, debit, prepaid and virtual cards across Visa, MasterCard, Maestro, Discover, Diners Club and JCB. Neosurf and paysafecard vouchers
Vouchers are redeemed with a PIN at the platform's checkout. Retail gift cards
Gift card programs convert store cards into tokens. CamSoda lists PayGarden with retailers such as Walmart, Target, Best Buy, Home Depot and Costco; Chaturbate also uses PayGarden and says the rate depends on the card; Stripchat sells tokens through UgiftHub gift cards; and CAM4 accepts gift cards from more than 100 brands for US users, redeemed at below face value. Privacy
Prepaid methods keep the purchase off your main bank or card statement. A voucher or gift card bought with cash leaves the least trace; a prepaid card bought or registered in your name is less private. Recurring billing implications
Vouchers and gift cards are one-time payments: nothing can renew from them. That makes them useful if you want to avoid auto-refill and renewing memberships by design. A prepaid Visa or Mastercard can technically be charged again like any card, so if you save one, membership renewals and auto-refill will try to charge it; once the balance runs out, the renewal fails. The refund catch
Refunds usually go back to the original payment method. LiveJasmin, BongaCams and Flirt4Free say so, and Stripchat refunds money only for card or PayPal purchases. A voucher or converted gift card cannot easily receive money back, and a prepaid card you have thrown away cannot either.
