How much are Chaturbate tokens worth?

Chaturbate tokens have one value for the person who buys them and another for the broadcaster who earns them. Only the second is published as a fixed rate.

Value to the broadcaster: $0.05 per token

Chaturbate's help article on converting tokens says "Tokens convert to cash at a rate of $0.05 each" and gives a table: 100 tokens = $5.00, 1,000 = $50.00, 10,000 = $500.00, 100,000 = $5,000.00. That rate is the same whatever package the viewer bought and whatever the tokens were spent on (tips, private shows, tickets or fan clubs).

Value to the viewer: what you pay per token

Chaturbate's token purchase page redirects to the login when you are not signed in, and no help article lists the card packages. Two official numbers give a reference point:

• About $0.105 per token. The Supporter membership article describes its 200-token bonus as "worth $20.99". That matches a 200-token package price, but it is a reference value, not a confirmed live package price.
• $0.08 per token by wire. The buying guide says wire purchases "are credited at $0.08 per token (A wire transfer of $1,000 will be credited 12,500 tokens)", with a $250 minimum.

The difference between what you pay and the $0.05 the broadcaster receives is Chaturbate's share. At the $20.99 reference value the broadcaster gets about 48% of what the viewer paid; at the wire rate about 63%. Our guide to webcam tokens explains why that gap exists on every token site.

Chaturbate token to dollar conversion table

The table converts common token amounts at the three verified rates. The first two columns are what a viewer would pay; the last is what the broadcaster receives. The $0.105 column is a reference value derived from Chaturbate's "worth $20.99" wording, not a confirmed checkout price.

How to buy Chaturbate tokens

1. Create a free account and log in. Watching is free without an account, but buying tokens needs one.
2. Open the token purchase page. The package list and prices only appear once you are logged in; logged out, the page sends you to the sign-in screen.
3. Pick a payment method. Chaturbate lists Visa, MasterCard and Discover, cryptocurrency (BTC, LTC, DOGE, ETH, BCH, AVAX, DOT, minimum 250 tokens), wire transfer (minimum $250), certified check or money order in USD (minimum $160, payable to Multi Media LLC), PayGarden gift cards and "over 37 other payment methods" depending on your location.
4. Check the final price. Chaturbate's VAT article says VAT may be included depending on your region and that the price may update after you enter billing information.
5. Decide on Auto Refill. This optional card-only setting re-buys your last package when your balance drops below 10% of it. Leave it off unless you want automatic top-ups.

How to send and spend Chaturbate tokens

Tokens leave your balance in a few ways:

• Tips in public chat, often from a tip menu or tip goal run by an app from Chaturbate's App Directory. Supporters can tip anonymously.
• Private shows, charged per minute at a rate the broadcaster sets, sometimes with a minimum show length. Premium private shows have their own rate and cannot be spied on.
• Spy shows, a per-minute fee to watch someone else's private show.
• Ticket and password shows, paid by tipping a set number of tokens.
• Content and fan clubs: photo and video sets, paid social-media access, and monthly fan club fees.

What a show costs in total depends on the broadcaster's rate. On October 14, 2026 the homepage's private show filter used buckets of 6, 12-18, 30-42, 60-72 and 90+ tokens per minute. For worked cost examples see Chaturbate pricing; for the site as a whole, our Chaturbate review.

Do Chaturbate tokens expire?

We did not find a published expiry period for purchased Chaturbate tokens in the help center or Terms we read. That is not a promise that unused tokens are kept forever: accounts that have been deactivated for more than 120 days cannot be reactivated, so a large balance on a deactivated account is at risk. If you plan to hold a large balance, ask Billing Support first.

One regional rule matters: since June 30, 2025, members in Sweden cannot buy, send or receive tokens, after a change to Sweden's sex purchase law. Their fan club and Supporter memberships were cancelled.

Chaturbate token refunds

Chaturbate's refund options are narrow:

• Tips are gratuities and final once sent (Terms).
• Tokens spent on Member Content "will not be refunded for any reason".
• Billing errors must be reported within 30 days of appearing on your statement.
• Complaints about a broadcaster interaction go through a support ticket with your username, the broadcaster, date, time and a description.
• Billing questions go to Billing Support by phone, 1-877-338-7068.

Chaturbate does not publish the text that appears on card statements. Its Terms say some purchases may be processed by UAB Alternative Payments in Vilnius, Lithuania. Disputing a charge with your bank is a separate route with its own risks, covered in our chargeback guide.

For broadcasters: turning tokens into cash

Broadcasters receive the full token count and convert at $0.05 per token. Payouts run twice a month (1st to 15th and 16th to month end), with a $50 minimum on most methods and $200 for crypto and FedEx checks. Daily payouts are available after a few regular payouts for a $3.95 fee. Studio broadcasters cannot convert tokens themselves; the studio collects them.
