How to become a CamSoda model, step by step

Start on CamSoda's models page and create your account (studios use the studio partner sign-up).
Upload a government photo ID: passport, driver's license or national ID. US models can also use a military ID, green card, tribal ID or income tax ID card.
Complete the face scan by scanning a QR code with your phone; CamSoda uses third parties such as Jumio and Incode.
Submit your tax form: W-9 if you are in the US, W-8BEN if you are not.
Choose a payout method and set your tip menu and goals.
Go live from the browser or OBS.

CamSoda model requirements and who can join

You must be 18 or older with a valid government-issued photo ID. Independent models in female, male and trans categories and studios (through the studio partner program) can join. Every model also submits a US tax form: a W-9 for US residents or a W-8BEN for everyone else.

Note the access restrictions in CamSoda's Terms: the site "must not be accessed by anyone located in China, Cuba, Iran, Iraq, Libya, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, and Syria, or any other country under U.S. embargo". Payment methods also vary by country.

CamSoda payout: what is a token worth to models?

CamSoda describes model pay in several places, and the statements do not line up exactly. Here they are side by side:

We treat $0.05 per token as the documented rate, because it is the most specific statement. What that means as a percentage depends on the package the viewer bought. CamSoda's published packages run from 50 tokens for $6.99 to 3,100 tokens for $249.99. By our arithmetic, if those counts include the bonus tokens, $0.05 is about 36% of the per-token price on the smallest package and about 62% on the largest. How much do CamSoda models earn?

CamSoda publishes rates, not typical earnings, and we do not estimate them. At $0.05 per token, 1,000 tokens are $50 and 10,000 tokens $500. Your income depends on hours, audience and the prices you set for private shows, tip menu items and media.

One documented extra is health insurance assistance. After six months, CamSoda pays a monthly bonus to models with proof of insurance: $65 a month for models grossing $3,500 to $6,999 a month, and $125 a month at $7,000 or more. Payout schedule: weekly, on Thursdays

The pay period runs Monday to Sunday, ending at 23:59 UTC. Payments are typically issued the following Thursday if you have reached your minimum; otherwise the balance rolls over to the next week. That makes CamSoda one of the faster regular schedules among large token sites.

The minimum is $20 for most methods. The model wiki lists a $0 CamSoda fee for ACH, check, wire and Paxum. On crypto, the FAQ states "We do not currently offer model payments in cryptocurrency", although a help-center summary mentions crypto and Payoneer; we follow the FAQ. Broadcasting software and mobile

Models broadcast from the browser or through OBS. CamSoda is listed as a built-in OBS service, and you connect with the stream key and RTMP URL from your account, at bitrates up to 50,000 kbps. CamSoda supports VR, and in February 2026 it partnered with Dreamcam to add VR streaming technology for models and viewers.

Geo-blocking and privacy controls
