Become a BongaCams Model

To become a BongaCams model you register on BongaModels, the platform's model site, upload a photo of your ID, a face photo and a photo holding the ID, and accept the model agreement. You must be 18, or 21 in some regions. BongaCams pays weekly with a $50 minimum, and after your first payout you can request money on demand. The per-token payout is the one thing the official pages describe inconsistently.

In short

  • Requirements: 18+ (21 in some regions), a driver's license, ID card or passport, a face photo and a photo holding the ID at face level.
  • BongaCams payout: the user FAQ says models get €0.025 per token and "about 50%", but those two statements do not match the listed token prices.
  • Weekly payouts on Friday of the following week, or Tuesday if you stream 3+ hours each Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
  • Minimum $50 for models ($100 for studios); on-request payouts from $20 arrive within 30 minutes.
  • Stream from the browser, OBS or SplitCam, the BM Broadcaster app (iOS) or the Android app.

BongaCams is a free-to-watch token site run by a Cyprus company, with its viewer prices published in euros (as seen from Europe). Our BongaCams review covers the viewer side; the ranking of webcam sites for models shows where it stands for performers.

How to become a BongaCams model, step by step

  1. Register at BongaModels as a model (or as a studio).
  2. Upload a photo of your ID: driving license, ID card or passport.
  3. Upload a face photo and a photo of yourself holding the ID at face level.
  4. Accept the model agreement.
  5. Add tax details if you live in the EU (BongaModels asks for them for DAC7 reporting) and pick a payout method.
  6. Go live from the web console, OBS or the mobile app.

The equipment BongaModels asks for is basic: a computer, a webcam and a good internet connection. Our guide to cam equipment explains what is worth upgrading first.

BongaCams model requirements

The minimum age is 18, or 21 "in some regions", according to the FAQ. BongaCams accepts female, male, trans and couple models, and studios register separately. BongaModels says it has more than 1,000,000 registered models and 45,000 studios, a self-reported figure.

BongaCams' Terms were updated on July 24, 2026 with a clause that names Yoti and VerifyMy as age and identity verification providers, describes AI-assisted moderation and bans deepfakes and synthetic streams. Expect identity checks to involve one of those services.

BongaCams payout: what a token is worth to models

This is where BongaCams is least clear, and we present the official statements as they are rather than guessing which is right:

  • The user FAQ says: "Models are always paid the same amount (0.025 €) per Token".
  • The same FAQ says that "pretty much about 50%" of the money goes to models.
  • BongaModels, the model site, states earnings and payouts in US dollars and does not give a per-token rate.

The two FAQ statements do not agree with the published price list. Viewers in Europe pay from €2.99 for 27 tokens to €2,500 for 42,100 tokens. €0.025 per token is about 23% of the per-token price on the smallest package and about 42% on the largest, not 50%. Your model dashboard is the only reliable source for your actual rate; ask support to confirm it in writing before you rely on a number. The viewer price list is on our BongaCams pricing page and BongaCams token guide.

How much do BongaCams models earn?

BongaCams does not publish average earnings. BongaModels' marketing mentions earning "from $300 a day to $20 000 a week", which is a self-reported promotional range, not a typical result. What determines your income is the tokens you earn and the rate on your dashboard.

You do set your own show prices within limits. Defaults are spy 15, group 30, private 60 and full-private 90 tokens per minute, and the model FAQ allows 5 to 80 for spy, 10 to 150 for group, 30 to 250 for private and 30 to 300 for full-private. For how token sites and percentage sites compare, see cam site payout percentages compared.

Payout schedule: weekly, early or on request

  • Regular payouts: earnings from Monday to Sunday are paid on Friday of the following week.
  • Early payout: paid on the following Tuesday instead if you stream at least 3 hours on each of Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
  • On-request payouts: after your first regular payout, you can request money that arrives within 30 minutes via Paxum, WebMoney or crypto. The minimum is $20 (WebMoney, Paxum) or $50 (crypto), with a maximum of $500 a day for models.

Studios follow the same weekly cycle with a $100 minimum, a $1,000 daily on-request maximum and early-payout rules based on half of their active models.

From the BongaModels payment methods page, checked October 14, 2026. The $50 model minimum applies to regular payouts.

Paxum is the cheapest option for most non-US models, since regular payouts carry no commission. Card payouts are convenient but cost a percentage plus a flat fee each time. More on each method in our webcam payout methods guide.

Broadcasting software and the BM Broadcaster app

  • Web streaming console in the browser.
  • OBS or SplitCam, which BongaModels recommends. OBS users streaming at 720p or higher get 3,000 CamScore points and an HD+ icon.
  • Mobile website: "Broadcast Yourself" from a phone browser.
  • BM Broadcaster for iOS (iOS 12.4 or later) from the App Store, where the seller is listed as GLORYVASE LTD.
  • Android app downloaded directly from bongamodels.com (Android 5.0 or later; you have to allow installs from unknown sources).

The OBS bonus is a good reason to set up proper software from day one; see our guide to cam streaming software.

Geo-blocking

BongaModels has a GEO Block page that hides your stream and profile from members in chosen countries, regions or even cities. That is finer than most platforms, which stop at country or state level. BongaCams does not publish a list of countries where the site itself is blocked.

Audience tools

  • Show pricing: private, full-private, group and spy rates you set within limits.
  • Tips and tip menu, with Lovense toy control; since October 2026 viewers see a one-click toy vibration menu with duration, level and token cost.
  • Content: photo and video sales; since May 2026 albums show whether they need registration, a model subscription or a status.
  • Chat tools: moderators, chatbots, countdowns and a profile questionnaire.
  • Promotion: autotweeting, contests such as Queen of Queens and Top 100 of the Week, referral bonuses and the BongaCash affiliate program.

Our audience growth guide explains how to use contests and social posting.

Taxes

BongaModels says models resident in the EU must provide tax details for DAC7 reporting. Under that directive, platforms report EU sellers of personal services with their name, address, date of birth, tax ID, earnings and payout account to tax authorities. The small-seller exemption applies only to goods, so it does not exempt cam income.

  • Android app is installed outside Google Play.
  • US-only check and direct deposit; most options aimed at non-US models.
