Ticket Show
A ticket show is a paid cam show that viewers join by paying one fixed price up front, instead of paying per minute. Everyone with a ticket watches the same show together, and people without one cannot see the show. Platforms use different names: Golden Ticket on CamSoda, Gold Show on Streamate and Jerkmate, VIP Show on LiveJasmin.
In short
- One price for the whole show, set by the performer.
- Many viewers share the show, so a ticket can cost less than a private show of the same length.
- Some formats only start when enough tickets or pledges reach a goal.
- Refund rules differ: Cam4 and Streamate spell out what happens if a show is cancelled.
How a ticket show works
- The performer announces the show, the ticket price and often a start time or goal.
- Viewers buy a ticket, usually by sending a fixed tip or pledge.
- When the show starts, ticket holders see the stream; others are shut out.
- The show runs for the announced length or until the performer ends it.
The difference from a per-minute group show is the billing. In a group show each viewer pays the per-minute rate for as long as they stay. A ticket show costs the same whether you watch five minutes or the whole thing.
Ticket shows on the main platforms
| Platform | Name | How it works (official pages) |
|---|---|---|
| Chaturbate | Ticket or hidden show | Runs through room apps: you buy a ticket by tipping a set number of tokens. "Password shows" are paid by a tip agreed in advance. |
| Stripchat | Ticket show | Fixed price of 8 to 1,000 tokens for the whole show. |
| CamSoda | Golden Ticket | Flat ticket price set by the model for a scheduled or ongoing show; recordings may be sold afterwards. |
| Cam4 | Group show (ticketed) | Performer sets a ticket price, token goal and time limit. Tips sent after ticket sales start count toward the ticket. |
| Streamate / Jerkmate | Gold Show | Members pledge GOLD during a countdown toward a goal; the performer sets length, goal and pledge price. |
| LiveJasmin | VIP Show | Multi-member show with a pre-show and a credit goal; only members who gave at least the minimum can watch. |
| Flirt4Free | Group Chat | Performer-set credit goal and minimum pledge. |
| Cams.com | Goal show | Tipping show with early and late entry tip prices. |
Not every site has one. XloveCam has no ticketed group show (its standard private show is shared instead), and SkyPrivate only documents one-on-one calls.
What happens if the show is cancelled?
Read the platform's rule before you buy. Two are explicit:
- Cam4: ticket holders are refunded if the show is cancelled, if the performer leaves for more than 5 minutes, or after 3 disconnects.
- Streamate: you are not billed for a Gold Show pledge if the performer cancels.
On sites where the ticket is a tip (Chaturbate's ticket apps, for example), general tip rules apply, and tips are final on Chaturbate. If you are unsure, ask in chat before the show starts.
Is a ticket show cheaper than a private?
It can be, because the performer's earnings come from many viewers. As an example on Stripchat, a ticket can be priced as low as 8 tokens, the same as the minimum per-minute private rate on that site, yet it covers the whole show. The trade-off is less control: you watch a show planned for a group, not a one-on-one session. Compare costs in private show pricing and the formats in public chat vs private shows.
For performers
Ticket shows suit performers with an engaged public room: a goal plus a ticket price lets regular viewers pay a fair share. Pair them with a tip goal to build momentum, and check whether your platform lets you sell the recording afterwards (CamSoda does for Golden Ticket shows).

FAQ
How much is a ticket show?
The performer sets the price. On Stripchat it ranges from 8 to 1,000 tokens for the whole show. Other platforms do not publish a range.
Do you get a refund if a ticket show is cancelled?
On Cam4, yes: tickets are refunded if the show is cancelled, if the performer leaves for over 5 minutes or after 3 disconnects. Streamate does not bill Gold Show pledges if the performer cancels. Elsewhere, check the platform's rules.
What is the difference between a ticket show and a group show?
A ticket show costs one fixed price. A group show usually charges each viewer per minute for as long as they stay.
