Free content: open rooms vs non-nude free chat
Chaturbate's help center says "anyone can watch cams and broadcast themselves free of charge. No credit card needed", and public rooms load without an account. The free room is where shows happen, paid for by viewers' tips.
LiveJasmin also has free chat: "Basic Members can enjoy unlimited chat with Models in the Free Chat area", and guests "may spend a limited time in a room". But its Terms describe free chat as text chat with dressed performers, with nudity only in private mode. Models may also limit free text chat for members who have not bought credits.

Private shows and paid formats
On Chaturbate, broadcasters set a per-minute token rate and optional minimum; on October 14, 2026 the homepage filter grouped rates into 6, 12-18, 30-42, 60-72 and 90+ tokens per minute. Premium private shows have their own price and block spies. Group formats are ticket shows and password shows paid by tip.
LiveJasmin charges per minute in credits at a rate the model sets, but bills "per second" in Private Chat. Its model list filters by price from 0.01-0.98 credits up to 9.99+ credits per minute, and the promotions page advertises "Shows starting from 0.01 Credits!" Exclusive Private (one-on-one, no peeking) is switched on with a lock icon. Cam2Cam and two-way audio "may incur extra per-minute charges". The group format is the VIP Show: a pre-show with a credit goal, watched only by members who contributed at least the minimum.

Spy mode, tips and extras
Chaturbate's spy mode is charged per minute at a rate the broadcaster sets, with no published range. LiveJasmin's Sneak Peek lets you watch any non-exclusive private for 25 seconds for 1.99 credits, without interaction, and new members get 10 free peeks after validating their email. A snapshot from a private costs 0.5 credits.
Tipping on Chaturbate is the core of the site: tips, tip menus, goals and apps. LiveJasmin's equivalent is "Surprises" (credit tips), "Request Actions" priced in credits, physical Jasmin Gifts and a King of the Room title for the top spender. More on how tipping works.
Token and credit pricing
Neither site shows package prices to logged-out visitors. Chaturbate's purchase page redirects to login; the published reference points are 200 tokens "worth $20.99" and wire transfers at $0.08 per token (minimum $250). VAT may be included depending on your region.
LiveJasmin's "Get Credits" page redirects to sign-up. Its official pages name package sizes only in credits: buying at least 27.99 credits makes you a Premium member, SmartBuy auto top-up buys a 27.99 package by default, and the Terms mention 17.99 and 157.99 credit packages. The Terms say the price depends on the country of your first purchase and includes currency and transaction costs. First-purchase discounts were advertised differently on different pages on October 14, 2026 ("up to 85% OFF", "90% OFF", "50% OFF"), so check the offer at checkout.

Memberships and fan clubs
Chaturbate Supporter costs $19.95 per month (ad-free, start private messages, anonymous tipping, one-time 200 tokens). LiveJasmin's Pro Membership includes free messages, invisible mode and more favorites, comes with a one-month free trial for age-verified members and then renews every 30 days; its price is only on the logged-in Pro page. LiveJasmin also has a free loyalty program, Club Elite.
Fan clubs: Chaturbate's are monthly at a broadcaster-chosen price. LiveJasmin has four tiers (Bronze, Silver, Gold, Diamond) per model, auto-renewing every 30 days, with no refund for the current period on cancellation. Tier prices are not visible logged out. See fan clubs explained.
Interactive toys, recordings and quality
Both support interactive toys: Chaturbate notes Lovense is popular, and LiveJasmin has an "Interactive Toy" show filter. Neither has a documented VR feature.
Recorded content works differently. Chaturbate records private shows to the buyer's collection by default and lets broadcasters sell photos and videos. LiveJasmin's MyContent sells pictures and videos that stay accessible for 90 days after purchase, plus "Stories" unlocked for 7 days.
LiveJasmin has an HD filter and recommends 1920x1080 at 30 fps for models. Chaturbate accepts streams up to 4K. Viewer quality still depends on each performer's setup.
Mobile support
Chaturbate has no app; its help center recommends a home-screen icon, and the mobile browser supports watching, tipping and chat. LiveJasmin offers an Android "LJ App" installed from its mobile website (not Google Play) and says "iOS devices are excluded currently". Chaturbate accepts Visa, MasterCard, Discover, seven cryptocurrencies, wire, certified check or money order, PayGarden gift cards and "over 37 other payment methods" by location. LiveJasmin's Terms and FAQ mention cards, PayPal, pay by phone, gift cards, Bitcoin and other coins, paysafecard, Neosurf, Skrill and a long list of local methods (Blik, Przelewy24, Boleto and others). Billing, refunds and recurring charges
LiveJasmin publishes its statement names: transactions appear "discretely" as JWSbill.com or CCbill.com depending on the provider. Chaturbate does not publish a descriptor. Our billing descriptor guide explains how to recognize these charges.
Both are strict on refunds. LiveJasmin users waive the EU withdrawal right, cash refunds apply only to an entirely unused package, and complaints must be filed within 24 hours; tips, peeks and VIP tickets are non-refundable. Chaturbate says tips are final and billing errors must be reported within 30 days. Privacy and regulation
Chaturbate offers 2-Step Verification with YubiKey support. LiveJasmin offers Pro invisible mode, a hideable Pro badge, per-second billing and a "Forget My Data" deletion option on desktop. LiveJasmin's privacy policy says it asks its age-verification provider to share only an over/under-18 result where possible.
Both have faced age-verification enforcement. Chaturbate's operator settled with Texas for $675,000 in 2024 and stopped token features in Sweden in 2025. Luxembourg's regulator ALIA fined LiveJasmin's operators 20,000 euros in August 2025 and 25,000 euros in October 2026 for applying different age-verification approaches across EU countries. Chaturbate is run by Multi Media, LLC (US); LiveJasmin by JWS Americas and JWS International (Luxembourg).
Creator economics and payouts
The two platforms pay performers in completely different ways. Chaturbate pays a flat $0.05 per token, regardless of how much a broadcaster earns. LiveJasmin uses a level system that resets each period: 30% at Level 1 (up to $250 earned in the period), rising in steps to 80% at Level 9 ($30,000+). Fan Club income was announced at an 80% share.
